I think she does look a little thinner - looks like she is losing the extra fat over her shoulder.
Your trailer doesn't look scary at all, it's all open inside!
It's a 2 horse slant, so yes, it is pretty open. I usually give a horse that doesn't like to load a bite AFTER they get in. If I put it in the front really long horses can actually get to it and get a bite with only their front feet in, so I don't put anything up there till they are in and the door shut. Then I give them a bite thru the window.
Yesterday at the vets, Harley acted up again, some men helped with got the job done faster. But I just hate that. Makes me feel like I did when my kids acted up out in public:). I wanted them so bad to stay and watch Rusty get in. I just untied him from the side, thru the rope over his back and told him to get in. He walked to the back and got in:), but of course the men had walked off. Oh well. Once this weekend is over (our town is having there big festival, Green Corn Festival & Parade and we will be down there at our new building all weekend), Mack will be home and he is going in that trailer, the horse, not Mack:) everyday till he gets in good.
I thought the mare looked less bulky around the shoulder area too, and had a tighter underline.
Well, I don't have to be there till 2, but I'm going out now to see how she will load....fingers crossing:)
