Yeah - I like my cowboy friend Bob to ride with, but he's tough to get to go on my schedule, plns of his own.
I just can't wait now till ecurbh and I have another horse, a trailer, and the ability to go whenever we want.
Trailers make a big difference, but I pretty spoiled. I can take off right from where I live and ride probably 10-15 miles of trails.
Just today tho, just since yesterday, a fence was put across one of my favorite trails. Almost ran into it. It is one of the few places where the trial is smooth, no rocks, no hanging trees and about a mile long but some really neat tight turns that are a blast at a gallop:) I usually long trot it one direction then lope it back. I was long trotting and there was the fence. Can't figure out who put it up and why. There is nothing there but brush land, and the fence only goes across the trail the land is NOT fenced in. Mack said just go around, but I'm afraid someone may be doing something illegal out there and I don't want to ride up on them. I've done that abefore with car thieves out there stripping a car. Scary thing.
