Good luck, Howard.  You're not going to find a Thespian with the range of a Dan Monahan or the emotive genius of Mark Herrier.  The way Wyatt Knight held the audience captive in the famous "Gas Station Scene" will never be duplicated.
 
Now, Porky's II:  The Next Day, that could probably stand a remake.  I guess maybe I was expecting too much out of it, but it fell short of my expectations.  It seemed that there was just so much fertile ground still to be sown with this rich and diverse cast of characters.

How can you overlook the best performance of the entire film? Kim Cattrall as "Lassie" simply steals every scene in which she appears. Truly, not since Lon Chaney, Jr. played Lenny in "Of Mice and Men" has there been such a sensitive and moving portrayal of the mentally deficient as this. This is truly a performance for the ages...
