As far as Shrek, I think it looks lame, but I haven't seen it. There have been a couple of threads about Shrek II promoting transgenderism, but I don't know. Might be an informative discussion though.

These are the same type clowns who think one of the Teletubbies (sp) is gay and that the Harry Potter books/movies promote Satanism.

From the bits of Shreck I have seen wandering thru the room while nephews watch, it is harmless and better than average kiddie fare.

I had that little purple b*st*rd pegged for a queer long before Falwell said anything about it. As to Harry Potter, I never read the books, but the movies were all hype, in my opinion, and not worth the time. Probably harmless, but nothing to rave about either. Shrek just looks stupid to me. I will admit, if I don't like the looks of a character, I won't watch the movie. I felt the same way about the Toy Story movies. I just find the characters annoying.

I bought that one for the kids, but I've never seen it and have heard the second one is funny

I also heard the Gardfield movie is suppose to be really funny

As for Harry Potter .. it's a kids movie
