Well, 45 years ago, there were no dens, just living rooms, no? And just one bathroom, too?

In 1967, we bought our first house in Euless, Texas for $11,500. It had a gorgeous yard. The garage had been made into a den area, so no place to park the car. But, it did have three bedrooms and a little place to eat off the kitchen. And the clothes washer was in the kitchen.

For years, I have always used that price to be appalled at the price of vehicles. As in....I will not pay more for a car than I once paid for a house. LOL

Yep one bathroom and the washer and dryer are still in the kitchen....Two bedrooms, one pretty small, and an unfinished room off the dining area...We finished it and has been used as a bedroom and now a junk room....So there....

.....Westy....
