So far Manhattan has Rent control and stablilized.
How this all happen was those hippy fresh out of school got jobs with out rages salery and the sky was the limit causing no care for tommarrow. So what ever the traffic would bear things just kept rising.
Ignorant youth and than downsizing it the liberal world it is all relative!
OMG I wonder what square foot these apartments run with a cost of one million? My home is only 1500 square feet.
