Sounds wonderful! I've got to get busy and paint the master bathroom before hubby puts the baseboard (border?) bull-nosed tiles along the base of the wall. I'm also going to strip and refinish the vanity.
We treated ourselves to a new mattress and box spring set on Sunday. The set we have now, I bought before we were married, and it's going on 12 years old. Ugh. We also upgraded from queen to California King. Next, I'm getting shutters for the master bedroom, and tearing down the hideous old curtains and mini blinds.
Yesterday I planted begonias and impatiens in the front yard. Always so much to do!
You're wearing me out with all your projects, Cheri.
A lady went into a bar in Waco and saw a cowboy with his feet propped up on a table. He had the biggest boots she'd ever seen. The woman asked the cowboy, "Is it true what they say about men with big feet?"
The cowboy grinned and said, "Shore is, little lady! Why don't ya come on out to the bunkhouse and let me prove it to you?"
The woman wanted to find out for herself, so she spent the night with him.
The next morning she handed him a $100 bill.
Blushing, he said, "Well, thankee, ma'am. Ah'm real flattered. Ain't nobody ever paid me fer mah services before."
The woman replied, "Don't be flattered . . .take the money and buy yourself some boots that fit.
I want shutters too..Love the look!My only thing would be that they have to be easy to clean. After the painting and blind cleaning I have been through...whew...my blinds are nice Levelor blinds but over time the color faded. They are still ok and work especially since the color of the bathroom is a slightly different pink..it actually works better lighter.
I need to do the strip and stain and seal thing with the bathroom cabinets and the kitchen too, I like the fine wood grain..just want it srpuced up and shiny again...
