Hi, Loddy,
Tell me about that part of town..what is it like? They had a nice huge home in the Woodlands on a golf course. Only bad thing there were water moccassins..and a coral snake that got in the house one day...but the house and grounds were gorgeous.
My nephew works for Dell there in Austin and another works in a restaurant I think...
Aside from Houston and the Woodlands and Conroe and those parts I have been to San Antonio which is lovely and of course through the state towards El Paso lots of times. But while he is sweating out the rain and the humidity etc we enjoy a wonderful climate on the CA central coast where we don't need air conditioning and seldom need the heat in the winter...I told him yesterday to eat his heart out and he just laughed....
Cat Mountain is a relatively (last thirty years) new subdivision in the NW Hills part of Austin - read high $$$. If we ever get a snow or ice storm, bro will not be able to get to work due to the steep hills, driveways, etc.
I would bet ya that per square foot, his Austin home will cost more in taxes than in the Woodlands...people in Austin have never seen a bond election that they didn't love. Of course, having fifty thousand mush-heads at UT who have no idea how bonds are repaid doesn't hurt anything.
Come see us.
