Noooooooooooooo... it's a few hundred dollars less expensive,lol, and you only want that if you are into doing the digital stuff.
You will find that using the software that came with your camera is easiest, at least for uploading into files, etc. To do the work Val and I do you need different software. Val uses PaintShop Pro and I use PhotoImpact by Ulead. I am trying to learn Photoshop but it's a lot like PSP which I never got a handle on, lol.
To just fix up pics for printing or posting what you have is probably just fine.
You don't need Fotki or Pbase to post them.. Just use the one Val's been using and I use too now and then. Imageshack.com
I save mine in those places only for posting, and before Imageshack. Hope this helps a little..;)
I woked with painshop in the pass when I got my Lexmark printer.
I like my copyof painshop but that version seem limited.
I think I will be ok when I finally get the imgage on the net! I will keep working at it
