Gall stones or kidney stones would explain the pain. The first time I had kidney stones the docs assumed it was an ovarian cyst. When they were doing an ulrasound for the ovaries, I asked that they look at the kidneys, too. The poor technician didn't know what to do, because it wasn't on the doc's orders. I just said I had had gallstones years earlier and the pain was similar, and the only other stones I could think of was kidney. He looked and ta-da! there were stones getting in the way of everything. Strong pain meds let me relax enough to pass them.

I had the gallstones Val.. and I was out of my mind (literally) with pain.. I suspect hers may be kidney tho.. The pain radiates from the front right side to the back..

I must have passed mine in the hospital.. All of a sudden I was fine, and never had it again..

I hope whatever it is,it's over soon.. :(
