Not every few miles, but every RV Park has at least a dump Station....Even some of the camping beaches have dump stations....In the old days long timers use to get a 55 gallon or so plastic barrel, drill a bunch of holes in it, then bury it in the sand and run their dump hose into it...Worked okay when there were only a few doing it, but it got so bad the beachs got polluted and the clams uneatable, but then you don't like clams, so that wouldn't matter....

Oh my, I know nothing about the rubber band clams demise.
But, I will empty my grandkids peepee into the ground off from other campsites. It is just a delicate yankee distaste that would consider it not okay.
I presume that a beer drinking deer hunter in the woods would piss more than I emptied.
