Mo, did you ever wonder why women are conservatives? I don't necessarily think it is our upbringing, but our inquisitive natures that leads us to investigate and ponder an issue.

I remember the exact moment I became a conservative many years ago. The welfare regalia were demanding more and more, not even dreaming that it would ever end as an entitlement someday in the future. I watched a rally of them where one woman said "pay me now for school, or pay me later for welfare". That sneering woman really got to me, Mo. I pondered whether I would be willing to pay her to go to school to better her life or pay for her and her children on welfare. And of course, I thought about the children who had no choice in her decisions. Then...a bolt of lightening hit me.

I said to myself...why this bitch is never going to take care of her children...whether in school or on welfare...and I will be damned if I am going to pay for her life choice to have kids with her slack jawed boyfriend who is now in jail.

And I never looked back.
