So I'm told.
Though I'm sure it can be a good thing sometimes.

Well, DH and I did it today. We brought home our 'rig'. Pictures tomorrow. LOL
My DH has never towed anything in his life except a very small U-Haul trailer. Westy, the man is the son of tenant farmers. In fact, his father could not read nor write, ever. But, somehow he escaped having to tow anything behind a tractor on the highway. And he is anxious of this. He did a perfect back-up to the hitch at the dealers and handled it all the trip back home.
But, when we get home, it gets interesting. I jump out of the truck and tell him that I will 'spot' him into the site we have chosen in our yard to put it. Our conversation goes...
DH...what is a spot?...Me...I will guide you with hand signals. DH...okay. Me....I motion to back up. He does. Me...I motion to stop. He does. Me...I motion to cut the wheel to the left. DH stops and gets out of the truck and asks me....why in the hell are you making a motion of cutting your throat and pointing? I think we need walkie talkies. LOL
But, all in all, it went well.
