The Guild 4-15-2004 Medication or bad taste, the verdict...
Posted on 04/15/2004 4:47:31 AM PDT by BigWaveBetty
And the verdict is ... Bad taste, a whole mouth full.
Here we see Teresa and her lovey in one of their wedding photos that reveal one ugly wedding dress. If your choice in wedding attire is this awful then we must chalk it up to plain old bad taste. The medication must of come after realizing she married a complete bore.
Kerry and Teresa Heinz married on Nantucket on May 26, 1995.

Yeah that was quite a firestorm when her name surfaced, then died down, you must have been cheering on Stewart in a tournament and didn't catch it.
I wonder what really lurks in that case, was it just Nichols and McViegh or did they have some help.

Good morning...You are all very funny...love this thread about Terry Heinz...and BWB, you are a genius to compare the wedding dress of Princess Di and Mrs. Kerry...they are very similar..Tayraza must have found a cheap knock off, lol...
Cindy Adams did an interview with the lady herself and she says she does her own hair...well, it looks like it but what was she doing in that fancy Manhattan salon? Also she likes dogs and has a German Shepard and has gained 10 lbs on the campaign trail which means she has gained at least 20-when one admits to "10" it usually means at least double that, lol...LINK

What was the one question that was conspicuously absent from the press to the president Tuesday night?
The economy.
To: BigWaveBetty
To be honest, I missed almost all the OKC news, never followed the trials, etc. I don't know why, but I've become interested since 9/11. I'm not sure I believe the government's findings on OKC, TWA 800 or that Egypt Air flight where the Arab pilot drove it into the ground [why do we never hear about THAT one in the list of terrorist incidents?].
Now I'm looking forward to the new Terry McNichols trial next month.

Speaking of cheering Stewart on:
He teed off very early this morning at Hilton Head. He's moved up from 51st place yesterday to 9th place so far this morning! He's 3-under thru 6 holes....Go, Stewart, go!

Actually HLL and I were debating whether Teresa's looked like Diana's, she brought up that it did and I gagged, no it didn't. I should have been more diplomatic and given your answer, cheap knock off. Sorry HLL. Although I'm still convinced that that dress is the one she wore for her first wedding, I think she's that wacky.
In the Cindy Adams interview when Teresa says, "I washed my own hair yesterday", she gave herself away. It was subconscious, she was really very proud of herself for washing her own head and wanted a little recognition. *snicker*

I have always wondered how the wicked one would justify accepting the VP slot...after all she did PROMISE her constitutents in New York that she would serve out her term as Senator. I don't think even the Clintons could figure out a way for her to be both Senator and VP.
But no, I don't believe she would turn it down...and I certainly don't believe she would turn down the top spot if for some reason Kerry "drops out" or drops dead.

Does anyone besides me think it is in poor taste for John McCain to be out selling his book while Cindi is still in hospital recovering from a stroke? He was on Larry King is Alive! last night and today he was on a morning show..
MORNING SHOW WRAPAs they in the biz, here is a programming note: John Kerry on MTP Sunday for the WHOLE hour...Hope he bores the socks off of Timmy...know he will be well prepared with scripted answers and in full make-up...

Here is another reason to make sure W gets re-elected...We love our Barney and do not want the WH lawn over-run with German shepherds and French poodles.

U.S. first lady Laura Bush gestures to 'first dog' Barney in front of yellow tulips in the East Garden of the White House in Washington, April 16, 2004, during a press preview of the annual White House garden tour. The two day event, held this year over two days on April 17-18, showcases to the public the spring blooms in the White House gardens, a White House tradition that dates to first lady Pat Nixon. Too bad about Laura's photo decapitation!
Why don't they do that to Teh-raise-ah or Shillary?

NewsMax makes me crazy with their stupid headlines and puffed up stories. I wasted 10 minutes trying to find the Cindy thread and read the whole thing (this time) only to determine that NewsMax had done it to me yet again. Argh!!

Parsing whatever a clinton says is always wise.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was asked in an exclusive interview on NBC's Today this morning what she would say if Kerry asked her to be his running mate.
How nicely that's worded, it doesn't ask, will you break your promise to NY, would you accept, it asks what she would say if asked, not what she would do.
Clinton said, "I don't think that will happen. I made it clear I don't want that to happen.[But gee, if it does happen, how can I let down my party at such a critical time?] What my answer will be, it will be no. I am not prepared to do that." ....blah, blah, blah... Then this little diddy at the end nobody would ever hold her to. What, is hillary going to talk to someone that would dare ask her to explain the reversal? Ha!
Personally I think she's too much of a coward to go up against GWB, especially now, too much ugly information about her administration is too close to the surface. It will be much easier to run four years from now, more likely memories will have faded.
Sorry about the semi-rant, dems are getting on my nerves today.
To: daisyscarlett
Guess Cindi better than anyone knows not to get between her hubby and a camera, not even if you're in hospital bed.

Contrast lovely Laura today in a nice pastel spring suit with Tayraza, today, in a brown pantsuit, with a yellow sweater tied around her neck. Is it that cold in Pittsburgh?

To: daisyscarlett
I live 45 miles from Pittsburgh. It's 70 degrees and sunny, with not a cloud in the sky. I think spring attire might have been appropriate.

Have a great weekend, everyone. We're off to Boston for a few days.
