Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

If your're running XP...? If you don't have service pack 1 installed yet you could get *just* that and it would cut down the total updates you'd have to catch up on. Dunno. Just a thought.

I'm already multitasking....Hobbit Hole, Cubs, movie with closed captions, and am just about ready to bake some cookies. :)Wish I would've thought of that before the movie started. . .

How about a "basic idiocy" score deduction?I usually manage to remain very composed in the classroom. Usually, sarcasm or meaningful looks are as close as I get to expressing what I'm thinking. But, this time, I almost just let him have it and told him how utterly stupid that was!

Fedora, check out this website that deals with colored pencil work:
http://www.cpsa.org/ They are alot more versatile than I would have guessed. I don't have much clue how these folks are getting the results they are.

It's Windows 2000 at work.
My computer rebooted once...didn't lose anything. I was in the lab. Then we get an e-mail. One of the computer guys got the worm (said his computer rebooted) but he had the patch and he put it on the network drive ...so he said. He didn't link to it and he didn't say where it's supposed to be. My "search" didn't turn it up.

So what are they going to blow up?

I've read all O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin novels, so I was thrilled when I heard a movie was being made of one.
I liked the movie version of Maturin, but he is a much darker character in the books, I believe. Crowe's Aubrey was more successful, I think.

If it rebooted itself with no other cause, then it is a pretty good indication that your computer was hit with it.
The good news is that no other damage happens. There's no payload on Sasser.a , b or c... though "c" is nastiest because it floods networks with packets.

The San Andreas fault line. They're gonna nuke it to stop the earthquakes. *rolling eyes*
I thought they should nuke it for a different reason.

Thanks, Sam! I bookmarked it and will definitely look that over--much appreciated!
To: HairOfTheDog
Is there some reason I want to watch this? Unless the greater Bay Area is sunk into the Pacific... that'd be pretty good times I guess...

So what are they going to blow up?Apparently Bedrock--it's an anti-Flintstones theme.
