Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I'm usually more smarter than today. I don't know what came over me. When I left the meeting with my no. 2 guy there, I told him that if I ever said stupid s#!t like that in a meeting again he was fully authorized to punch me in the nose.

Oh some days are just worse than others honey. All of us tend to have brain farts from time to time. Today was just your day. Want me to try and make you feel better? :-)

Only needs 12 of those and he's in for a whole year! Being your own contractor has its good points (no other nasty staff people to put up with).Works for me! This is a good lower-pressure type job to start with, so I can hone my skills on the stuff I'm learning.

What would make me feel better would be to have the
!@#$ing minibar not be malfunctioning. Had to go talk to room service about getting something delivered. :-)

That was my favorite short--have probably watched it 50 times and it still cracks me up :)
To: Ramius
Oh dear. That's terrible. Have you got it all straightened out now darlin'?
*scratch* *scratch* *scratch*
Calm down. Take some deep breaths.

It's one of my favorites, too. I think the first half of "Mr. B" is some of the best MSTing they ever did, imho.

Agree. They were on a roll during that whole part of that season. I think they had just done
Pod People the week before, which was also a blast.
Well, I need to log off here, so have a good night everyone!

OK... I'm set. Having the most expensive Jack Daniels in the western hemisphere. Funny... it's tastes the same...
$27 for a double jack and a beer? Yeesh... Did I say already that I detest California? :-)
I'm not really as testy tonight as I sound like. Honest.
