The truth is out there. It was--until Elrond covered it up--remember those private meetings he had outside the Council. . .

You're right. Micheal's fault!

I bet he can keep racing. Looks like it's all repairable.

They left Keebler, Nabisco, and Kellog to take the fall.Meanwhile Elrond, Galadriel, and Glorfindel dump their stocks in Middle Earth and flee the country for "the Gray Havens". . .

Heh...I don't have to worry. We have it from his own lips: if he were ever to marry, Rosie Cotton would be the one.Yep--that part's even in the book, too :)

Brothers wanted me to watch Timeline this weekend. You had seen that and kinda liked it, right?
I thought it was pretty good. Far from perfect, but clean and entertaining. And oooh baby, do I ever like a attractive guy with an authentic Scots accent playin' a chivalrous action hero kinda role! Gerard Butler had kind of a bit part in "Reign of Fire", but even in that I liked him enough to look him up on the Internet. I haven't seen any other movies with him in it, but I sure did like him in Timeline!
Wonder if the book is any good? Michael Crichton (sp?) is kinda hit and miss in my experience. Like some of his books...really didn't care for others.

I'm still trying to catch up on weekend posts! Thinking about just throwing in the towel. Did I miss anything super important?

Sigh... finally home. How was the marathon?
Went to church. Couldn't sing, so I had to make my excuses to the choir director. Jill wanted to stop at B&N on the way home so she could research something for homework - eh, I'm a pushover. Played my nice burned CD of anime-intros on the way. Freaked brothers right out. Hehehe.
Of course, I now have homework to finish really quickly, between now and dinner, because after dinner we're supposed to watch Master and Commander.

What did Elrond know and when did he know it?And who was there when the Great Ring didn't get destroyed in the first place? Which Elrond conveniently blames on Isildur--but of course, we have only Elrond's word to go on for that, since dead Isildurs tell no tales. . .Then there's the fact that the Elves caught Gollum and he "escaped"--which happened on Legolas' watch, so small wonder he shows up to file the report at the Council of Elrond Commission. . .And then of course Elvenburton ends up getting the contract for rebuilding Minas Tirith after the war. . .

Let's see, ecurbh's birthday, a FOTR chat-view last night, and the race today. Other than that I think it's all been the usual stuff! :-)
Oh yeah, and Ruthy's got Sam with her now.

Timeline was a huge disappointment, only because I'd read Doomsday Book first and that colored all my views. It was pretty good. Better than the movie. One of Chrichton's betters, in my view.
