I see the guy with the air problem got it solved....kinda. They ended up shaving his head after all. They prolly shoulda done that first.
But it was entertaining, in any case! I stayed up too late watching it.

Yep, I'm pushing the fluids today...gonna dose myself with a cup of coffee, which I've totally been off of now for over a week. The caffeine in it will inhibit my antidiuretic hormone and hopefully help me get rid of some of this water!
But in better news...don't listen to the scale so much...listen to how you feel. My clothes are all baggy on me...I'm comfortable in my clothes for the first time in years. My ring is loose (or was...my hands are puffy today.)

I think what prompted the shave was when they put hydrogen peroxide on it and turned it orange. He didn't want to use wimmin's hair color. LOL!

Steve likes to pour those Atkins Advantage shakes in his coffee...he uses the vanilla like a creamer and the chocolate to make a mocha...only has 1g carb in the whole can, whereas one packet of splenda has 1g. I haven't really looked at any of the Atkins products...but mocha sounds good. Are they really, really pricey, though?
There have to be ways of making stuff like the "official" Atkins products without paying big bucks, surely! Not chocolate, of course...but some things.

Orange? Oh dear. That was an odd thread but I just couldn't read more than a few dozen posts at a time.

Heh. He actually did use WD-40. Shouldn't have used the peroxide.
To: Overtaxed
I'm surprised it didn't all just fall out, with what they had him putting on it.

Yes, they are pretty expensive...he makes one can last a couple of days or more, even. I get them at Sam's club for 19.99 for a 12pk. We don't just scarf them down for sure! LOL
Well, sometimes I do.
Carb Countdown milk might be a cheaper option...I think for a half gallon it was like $3, and there are 3g carbs per cup.
Then there's just good old cream. That's what I use in my tea. But it's not chocolate.

Heh...I saw that. Missing since '79, though. As one person posted, since those things are HIGHLY radioactive, most likely the person who stole it is long dead. ;-) How exactly does one go about taking one of those things?
Or lose one in the first place?
Yeah, Margaret mentioned she got another letter from thegirl. She had seen some of the pictures of thegirl with her new bow, so thought it was really cool to hear it from her perspective.

Steve's stupid doctor just hacked us off in a bad way. Here Steve waddles in there for his physical and is so overweight he can't breath well or tie his shoelaces...and the doc harps on and on about a great pill he should try for HAIRLOSS.
Hmph...
Steve started Atkins that day and now, 21lbs lighter, he's already felling like a new person...despite thin hair! He started out at 210, he is 189 now, he wants to get to 175.

One of our local tv stations was doing an 'investigative report' about 'which common household products are RADIOACTIVE!!!!!' last night. I almost watched... it'sso funny, because almost everything is, technically, radioactice. Heck, you get more rays from a granite wall than you do at the dentist.

Good morning, Jen!
OT, see 3677.
We're giving a little party for one of the art profs that got forced out of his job at the local U on Friday, ought to be nice. I don't know the real story, but most everyone likes the guy alot.
Aside from which, he is top notch at teaching and drawing.
'Course the guy is so far to the left that he regards the Democrats as centrists. This aspect of university people, especially the ones in the arts, drives me batty. He's a very nice person, though, which seems to me to be an internal paradox.

Carb Countdown milk might be a cheaper option...I think for a half gallon it was like $3, and there are 3g carbs per cup. Well...that isn't too bad price wise, and they have chocolate flavored Carb Countdown, don't they? Though technically South Beach isn't a low carb diet in the same sense that Atkins is, so maybe it's not necessary. Mostly just aren't supposed to have sugar, or drink lots of milk straight. Putting a little milk in coffee or tea is OK, though I prefer half-and-half anyway!
Hm...wonder what would happen if you put a spoonful of cocoa powder on top of a cup of coffee...would it stir in OK? That might make a good mocha.
