I don't know...it was about an inch big all around including long legs...a crawling spider, not a orb type spider...I was sitting here logging into the Hole when I noticed it...
I'm in the kitchen on Matthew's laptop and I think it must have either been on the chair or on the underneath of the countertop. I'd been sitting here reading my email and eating breakfast. I had noticed it crawling on me for a while but thought it was a thread or something from my shorts!
These are my OSU shorts...the ones I got special for the Houston Moot...grey workout shorts, you know...I sleep in 'em.

Today is Steve's second to last school day...next Wed is his last day...for this semester!
He got in last night at 11pm. I made him a cup of green tea and sat and visited for just a little while.
He's lost 21 pounds since Mar. 8th on Atkins. He broke through into the 180s yesterday and was very thrilled.

There are three in jail now. I am learning that city governments are not far removed from the "Gangs of New York". It is truly amazing how much "stuff" goes on at this level.

It weren't you darlin', you should know that. Whew!

Oh dear! Sorry about the spider bite. No worries about poison. Either put a little paste of meat tenderizer on it or some listerine and it will make it feel less itchy if the cortisone doesn't work.

*shudder*
Though spiders don't bother me as much as roaches. Luckily I've never seen a roach in VT. Guess houses are too far apart and it's too cold...though I'm betting there are some in the bigger cities.

Didn't hurt all that bad, when it bit me...mainly just itched. I put the hydrocorisone on it and it quit itching. The bumps were little bitty, like very small mosquito bites. They are gone now.
I think it must have bit me pretty quick, since I was naturally moving around and whacking it at it pretty intensely.

I'd rather NOT imagine it! ;-)
We used to have little black spiders in the house sometimes when I was little...not sure what kind. I'm pretty sure I got bitten in my sleep a few times. But thinking about dealing with one crawling on me gives me the heebie-jeebies.

coffee samples? Naaaahhhh....dirt samples.

Well, there's Shelob under my kitchen window sill, she's been there for over two years...just a little house spider. She keeps laying eggs...I've never seen a daddy spider about. I just take the egg sac out with tweezers and flush it down the toilet.
I don't like her, but she doesn't hurt anything...just hangs out there. Kinda interesting.
