Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

True, you could use a food processor to grind up almonds, or for an even finer grind, use the coffee grinder.

Do you have a mill? I'm thinking I might get one eventually. For one thing, I could make fresh wheat flour and KNOW it was whole grain. We have friends who have made their own flour for years, and their bread is out of this WORLD. It's the standard by which we judge all other breads. ;-) So far I've never found anything that could touch it.

And then...my Mom always said it was the hardest when she just had two. Best to have a couple more so they keep each other busy.
Just teasin'. You already know my thoughts on the subject! I'm already worrying that I won't be able to have as big of a family as I'd like. ;-)

Hutsell sounds VERY familiar. Fort Bend is out in Stafford/Missouri City, SW of Houston. Burford I am not too sure about, and it wasnt long after I finished TKaM that we decided to build our house and that becaem all consuming until this past March. Now things are bit easier to take in, but I have not been to a play in quite some time.

This is her, seated, when she was cast in Agnes of God...

She read an excerpt from The Velveteen Rabbit in my wedding.
I think she married a guy named George Brock?

I'm honestly not that much of a dessert person Huzzah! CHEESECAKE! *I know I have a recipe around here somewhere...*
I inflicted it on family/guests this weekend. They didn't ask... I didn't tell. :P
Also makes a fine homemade ice cream.
Too much, though, gives a strange 'aftertaste'. For me, it's like a weird film on my teeth. So I use it sparingly.

Was that at Fort Bend Theatre? or elsewhere? I cant imagine that Agnes of God was done as FBT because they try to stay away from 'controversial' stuff like that. Cant say that she looks familiar though.
That is SO cool though

That does sound tasty! Recipe? :)
BTW your mention of broccoli inspired me--right now I'm eating a rice mix with broccoli and cheese.
As far as the diet goes, what vegetables are restricted on the South Beach Diet? The one I've been following is pretty free on vegetables except it recommends non-processed ones over processed ones--not that I necessarily follow that :)
