I don't like pink all that much, either...except for hot pink, which would make a LOUSY room paint color. ;-)
But I love all the blue and green!

Amazing that "Behind-the-Wall" Wallace is still running.
To: Overtaxed
Okay, now we got Dale coming up. We're sitting pretty if one of em can just get to first!
Okay, I know Labonte is my guy, not yours... but, we got a common interest in one of 'em.

By the by...you're gonna laugh at me, I think. ;-)
I got into a big argument with brother #2 this weekend about diet. I hadn't told any of them I'd been trying to get into better shape and lose some poundage, but he mentioned wanting to get fitter before hiking season (though he doesn't need to lose weight...he's still at the lucky stage where guys can eat anything). When he brought that up, I confessed I'd been working on it, but without much success weight-wise.
He proceeded to lecture me on all that he thinks is wrong with my diet, primarily that I eat meat and (*GASP*) use olive oil in my cooking. Said that the ONLY way to lose weight is to cut out all fat, as nearly as possible and do a lot of walking, and that EVERYONE knows THAT, duh! He was pretty hard on me about it.
It made me so mad that I've decided to do the South Beach diet thing. I had had a LONG talk with someone about it earlier on Friday and was kinda thinking about getting the book, but that argument just pushed me over the edge. I'm not going to tell him, but I'm going to do it and if I do lose weight (which I think I will), I can say "told you so". Not the most positive motivation, I suppose, but with the scale back up to the starting point this Friday though I've been hungry all the time...I've got nothing to lose. I can keep an eye out for sales...shouldn't be all that bad, especially as the bigger store is really starting to cater to low carb dieters and often has big sales on lettuce mixes and such.

Heh...we don't even have to watch the races...we get all the results (and gossip) right here!
Lotta people wayyyy into Nascar in these parts. If I got TV, I might at least watch, I admit.

Oh! You could chat/view NASCAR with us! You would have fun! :-)
Forgot to tell OT that I had invited a guy in to our regular afternoon NASCAR chat to meet her. He's looking for a woman who likes racing! But, I also forgot to remind him to come visit us!
I messed that up huh?
