I think a guy with a vacuum sealer can remain a productive member of society, as long as he doesn't also have a label maker.

Vacuum-sealed soup?
Whoa... the door is wide open, not three feet from my desk, and I'm not even a little chilly. What is this weird weather?

In the first few days after he got it, I think he woulda vacuum sealed the dog in a bag, if'n he'd fit. He went a little crazy with it for awhile. ;-)

Certain kinds of guys tend to get a little weird when they get a new gadget. Not so much girls, but we do obsess over clothes more, so I guess it's even.

Steve emailed me the one with the woman falling so I went to the web site and tried to open some more but all I get is a bunch of code. The one he mailed me opened just fine from my email.

Argh. I hope the trolls were vicious, otherwise you have no excuse.
Seriously, how was the battle?

1) I don't need no steenkeeeng excuses...
2) Battle was not as bad as I had anticipated. Actually sort of heard them hinting that they may let me do what is in my job description instead of all this other crap.
We'll see.

Speaking of the conceal to carry law... my brother's PD told him not too long ago that he would have to get qualified on each gun that he owns - and not just for off duty carrying of concealed weapons. Okay, we are talking about a person who has been an active member of a gun club since he was knee-high to a june bug, and is a qualified and employed police officer. He was more than just a little offended. He carries one (or two) of at least 10 different guns at any given time. Plus, this would all be out of pocket expense, i.e. not paid for by the department.
IIRC, he fought it and was able to to convince the PD that getting qualified (notice ~ they didn't say "trained") for EACH firearm he OWNS was redundant (not to mention a bad way to maintain retention of officers)

Me, too, LOL! I had in mind the scene from Star Trek IV where the punk rocker is playing his radio loud on the bus and Spock politely asks him to turn it down. He gives Spock the finger, so Spock gives him the nerve pinch, and everyone on the bus gives Spock an ovation, LOL!
