I think that's the rate my bank pays on savings. Not sure. It doesn't add up very quickly. Just enough that I have to pay taxes to the state on the interest. I always owe them $1. Hopefully it costs more to process the check.

I think I need a dependent.
Maybe I could adopt a couple of the younger siblings?
Too bad you can't claim pets.

Seriesly though, I was just bummed Nana didn't live here long enough last year to claim her. Next year it'll make a big difference 'cause we'll also have her medical expenses to add to ours.

I could use a dependent or three as well. Something... anything...
I'm in the category of taxpayers that are just in the "you're hosed" group. I have no dependents, no mortgage (since I bought the house on a note, not a mortgage), no deductions at all. I'm just hosed. I can't itemize, even if I wanted to.
I'm thinking about donating my boat to one of those charities, just so I can feel what it's like to itemize for a change.

Also in August, I have to start paying real bills. I'm going to have to be on a very very strict budget. Not a ton of room for flying around, 'cept for Christmas visits home.
However, once the aliens start dropping asteroids on us, Colorado will be a nice safe place for the new capital. Isn't there some secret Army base under the Rockies where they're going to run Armageddon?

Isn't there some secret Army base under the Rockies where they're going to run Armageddon? The problem with Cheyenne Mountain being there, means it's a great big target... haven't you ever read any cold-war-paranoia SF?

Good evening...
I've been meaning to ask you, what have you said too much about?
To: JenB
Colorado will be a nice safe place for the new capital. But first you gotta do something about *Boulder*.
