Oh my...you don't even wanna hear what I was doing in the 70's.Ask Hair about my Jim Morrison impersonation.
Well, I can't say anything, as I was impersonating Jim Morrison in the 1990s :)

Not storms... but it just started raining about 5 minutes ago. First rain we've had since early last week.

Heavy Partying Elf needs a scapegoat. Figgers...just another elf tryin' to blame someone else.
"Isildur! Throw the ring away, throw it away...you bad, bad, bad, bad boy...I'm gonna tell Ilúvatar..."
Sheesh!

I'm watching weather right now too. Heavy storms in the Wichita mountains but they're in Oklahoma. And they aren't mountains.

See why I like this place? I can post these all over the walls, knowing that people will
understand them. I was willing to debate the controversial ones ... but no one in my honors English class even understood them --- and that includes my teacher. They never even wondered where they came from, or who wrote them on the board.
Political tags -- such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth -- are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort.

Well...I did it on Halloween 2003. I doubt ecurbh ever recovers.

I am a comfortable neighbor. LOL
Yes, one of the reasons I liked living in Austin too. There was a wealth of people there who understood and were willing to discuss things. Miss that too.
Although, I would not have been in your honors English class I think.... I avoided English. But, still I did well. I had English teachers like you describe. Cookie cutters. :-)

This elf woulda pushed him off the ledge. Hey! Hey! Easy there! I know where yer gonna be sleepin' in June. Sabotage is as simple as short-sheeting to the Elf mind.
To: Wneighbor
The biggest thing I learned from her was the fact that opals are very fragile gemstones --- they crack and crumble at the slightest provocation. (She had an opal wedding ring.)
The two highest achievements of the human mind are the twin concepts of "loyalty" and "duty." Whenever these twin concepts fall into disrepute -- get out of there fast! You may possibly save yourself, but it is too late to save that society. It is doomed.

ROFL! People are strange when you're a hobbit :)
To: Corin Stormhands
You have any idea how much fiber is in a pint of stout?
To: Scott from the Left Coast
They all left the sneaksies to me!
To: Scott from the Left Coast
Har!
To: Wneighbor
You know I am older than you again. I am officially 16 days older than the Mrs. I tell her that when we met, time stood still for me...
...and she caught up.
(I gotta learn when to quit)
