It was morning here when ya posted that, afternoon now.

To The Rescue

Unexpected cold snaps had destroyed the buds on my father's young peach
tree for two years in a row. This spring Dad was ready. He replanted the
sapling in a large box, mounted it on wheels, and put the tree in the
garage whenever the temperature dropped.

One warm April day Dad was wheeling the tree out into the yard, and stopped
to give our dog a drink from the garden hose. A neighbor watched the scene
with amusement. "Frank," he finally commented, "you're the only man I know
who walks his tree and waters his dog!"

Here is a poem I did just last night!

Quiet,restfull,harmonious

It is murmered to be cursed and I believe for I have seen the silver stakes croocked with broken boughs,
It is said to be harsh and I have felt the bitter wind,
But as I stand here were it is sighlent I pay them no heed,
Were are the crystal tiped waters more pure?

Still, clear, growing, breaking, remaking

We probably will not move. We have talked for the last few years about selling our property and moving out of California.

I love California, but with high taxes and a very unfriendly business environment, it is easy to think of moving. Our biggest problem is where would we want to go. We have talked about Arizona and Oregon. Maybe even Nevada, south of Reno.

I'm acclimated to the arid regions so moving someplace where there is winter would probably be my demise. :)
