WASHINGTON - As Sen. John Kerry prepares to go under the knife for a shoulder injury tomorrow, he got grim news from his doctor. For a regular person, his prognosis is excellent. But for a politician in the throes of a major political campaign, it was close to terminal:

No handshaking for at least three weeks.

No high-fiving or fist-pumping for five to six weeks. [We hope he'll have nothing to celebrate in the next 5-6 weeks]

And no baby-hugging for at least eight weeks.

"This will be done on an out-patient basis and I expect a full recovery," said Dr. Bertram Zarins, head of sports medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. "Within two or three weeks, he'll be shaking hands again."

Let's pray she means when she pulls out the October surprize for Kerry.

In a story about the start of liberal radio a dem finally admits dems aren't funny...

"A lot of times Democrats have been accused of being boring because, you know what? We are," says Mark Walsh, CEO of Progress Media, the network's parent company. Winstead scoffs at the notion that she and her colleagues might be considered lowbrow because they present serious information in a lighthearted way.

The above statement by Hillary scares me to death. Here she is snuggling up to Teddy - she wants to be VP choice. If Kerry is elected, no one would be at all surprised if he crumped-he looks so ill-then Hillary will fill out his term and then get elected on her own two more times. 11 plus years of Hillary...OMG...

You were wondering last week where her hot pink blouse was (remember she wore her robin egg blue suit to the black tie gala)...Well she was saving that for the big Unity dinner.
