You know...in the just shy of ten years that I've been in the "real" workforce (yikes...getting to be a long time!), I've never had a woman as a direct supervisor.
Sounds like...maybe I'm lucky? ;-)

I had one that wasn't too bad when I worked for the state. Of course they were pretty much stuck in their jobs until someone died or retired like the rest of us. :) They weren't the pushy gung-ho prove-yourself-to-get-ahead type.

Yep, you're lucky. I've had decent women supervisors in my life, but they were few and far between. Better to have a male supervisor. Always hated the thought of it when I was a supervisor. Was always asking myself if I was being *itchy like all the rest. Kinda paranoid about it. But, I was told I wasn't like that.... after I quit working there so maybe they weren't just tellin' me that. LOL
