Thinking about it, who else have they got?

Jude Law? Too blonde and snarky.

Guy Pearce? Too thin and fine-boned. Not "manly" enough.

Ewan McGregor?

For Bond, you mean? That's what I'm wondering. I can't think of anybody who fits the part better than Brosnan, so I don't know who else they'd pick. Part of the trick to Bond is that he has to be in good shape but can't have too big a build, which rules out the broader-built action types like Bruce Willis, etc. Mel Gibson's got certain aspects of it, but comes with too many associations from previous movies, and his personality doesn't quite fit. Hmmm. . .Maybe Val Kilmer?--if he wasn't so hard to work with on the set.
