Not at all! The scenes are easy to see coming and you can simply skip the truly heated parts and get on with the story.

Must admit: I don't skip them. Wicked thing that I am!

From what I remember of So Fla in the summertime... half-nekkid would be about four times the clothes I saw on most people most of the time.

LOL I sat out in the yard in shorts and a tank top for a while late this afternoon. The warm sun just felt *so* good! Not to the sun worshipping stage... but it sure feels good to soak it up after a cold winter!

McCaffrey's another one I mean to read. Which of her series is best to start with?

It actually got a bit chilly over here tonight. I was surprised.

Oh, yeah, David Eddings--my ex-roommates were big into him; and also Piers Anthony.

You have a point. Half nekkid compared to what. This afternoon I was about 1/10 nekkid compared to Saturday... BUT I WAS FULLY CLOTHED!

You might find yourself guilty of corrupting the morals of a Puritan girl, though...

Line forms here... :-)

hehehe... oh... please...

You just can't leave low-hangin' fruit like that. I'll let you off easy this time. :-)

Jen, have you read The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress? I can highly recommend that one ... he only advocates various forms of polygamy, and implies miscegnation in that one ...!

Heinlein kinda went off in that direction for a few novels. I suspect he was taking a cue from Theodore Sturgeon.

Piers Anthony was lousy. Just lousy, though the 'Apprentice Adept' trio had high points.

Try Terry Pratchett. English fantasy comedy, satirizes everything. Or have you read him?

And for McCaffery - I recommned "Dragonriders of Pern", her best series... starts with "Dragonflight", I believe.
