Well, you can have more, but requires the concurrence of your neighbors and a special license. Otherwise, the ordinance says three animals, dogs or cats in combination, over six months of age. It's a good idea for people who have too many animals for city living.

I don't know yet.... I may go have it done... I may just do a test run of curling it myself and see. My hair will be naturally more curly when I layer it, which I am planning on doing.

It's been awhile since both dogs lived together in the same house, though they do see each other all the time.Might Fiona not be quite so hyper if Fritz is around all the time?

It was dark, but his lawn tractor has little headlights. The guy from whom we bought our first house was apparently like that. The neighbors said he'd come at 10 at night in the summer, start up his lawnmower and attach a flashlight to it! They all breathed a collective sigh of relief when Stanley sold the house to us!

Well funkle me!! Y'all haven't been as chatsy today as you were yesterday, so it hasn't taken me as long to catch up!
We were at the Journal of Light Construction Expo again today. What a great show! We got lots of cool ideas for the house!

No.... these I bought today in town....
Now that I have done that I will probably go buy coordinating flowers to make a new bouquet from in blue and yellow. Blue and yellow would go better with Sonya's dress anyhow. The old ones from my mom had blues and pinks...
I have the camera now... I can show ya.

I think I can do better with new flowers. On their own, they looked ~okay~ but next to the new ones, they look tired. (and I know the one lily looks out of place) Bright new blue and yellow ones would be better.

which is all the city allows. Steenkin' communists!
To: HairOfTheDog
Hmm.... this is Sonya's dress... I thought it was lighter.

I better find some flowers for the bouquet with some of the blues that dark, and it'll work. I may add a few dark blue ones to the head thingy now too.
Or I could just not ~match~
As I look at that dress, I think she will be a walking corsage... I think we should forego a corsage on her, don't you think?
To: HairOfTheDog
Yeah, the blue and yellow ones are nice, and they will go very nicely with Sonya's dress. Any way you can incorporate your Mom's flowers in a floral design somewhere in the house for the wedding?

I think just a few small dark blue flowers added to the headpiece and the bouquet should do fine. It doesn't have to match exactly, just suggest the colors of the flowers in the dress.
I agree, a corsage would be LOST on Sonya's dress. I think even a small bouquet wouldn't be seen against the dress. Any way to incorporate a small flower decorated comb in her hair using the dark blue and yellow flowers and green ribbon?

Naw.... I'll just put them in a corner of a shelf here. They're tired, and there are other special things of hers we can have with us.

I guess I'm an "official" parent now. I've been barfed on. I went to have breakfast with some friends this morning. Elf-boy came with me. His tummy was apparently in knots from lack of chow. He refused dinner last night.
Anyhow, we order and are waiting for our breakfast. Between ordering and delivery, elf-boy barfs all over my arm and leg. Not just once, not twice, but THREE TIMES!
I've been christened.

The breakfast scene was at 6:45 this morning. Elf-boy was quite healed with half a biscuit after they left the restaurant. Then, when they got home, I would not let him eat anything other than cheerios or dry toast ~just in case~ until after lunchtime.
Lunch rolls around and of course, elf-boy is starving cuz all he has had to eat/drink is cheerios and water all day at this point. He ate his usual peanut butter sandwich and some juice.
Dinner comes and he eats a an entire lunchable with juice plus a peanut butter sandwich. Something tells me he won't refuse dinner again for awhile.
I think he has already planned his breakfast for tomorrow, LOL!
In other news, elf-boy is desperate to try out the shrinky-Dink machine. PE and he have gone to the store to get some light bulbs to make it work properly.

Oh, those flowers of your mom's may be tired but they are still beautiful. How nice that you *do* have them!
I really admire that you made that headpiece. PQ's mom Peggy made all the floral stuff for my wedding, Jill's wedding and several others. Your work there looks just as beautiful as Peggy's and that is a hugh compliment. I could never hope to do something like that and have it come out looking that nice! :-)

Thanks... I am pretty proud of it, and I am now inspired that I can make the bouquet myself, if I can keep it simple...
To: HairOfTheDog
I am inspired and think you can do it too!!! I'm with Suzi after catching up on posts. I think just a few little darker flowers mixed with what you've already got will pull it in with Sonya's dress nicely. But, I don't even think you'd have to do that unless you just wanted too. Looking between the pictures of her dress and your headthingy it does not look "off."
