I’m sure you know which one I mean, he often steals the show.
He will be celebrating soon, we’ve heard, a rite that we regard,
As holy in the sight of God, even in one’s back yard.I’m talking about marriage, and one particular Guy,
He would have done this long ago, if he were not so shy.
It is a sort of gem he found, specifically, a pearl,
He really isn’t royalty, but he’ll become an Earl.Yes, he’s walking well above the ground, for Laura has consented,
And if he screws things up this time, he’ll be the late lamented.
But I have confidence in him, he’s flown this high before,
Of course this is because of love, and that was playing war.He’ll be much calmer soon, I think, and be his own sweet self,
(When she reflects upon her name, she will become an elf.)
And magic will be theirs, I’m sure, and hope it lasts real long,
For we all need a Guy like him, to cheer us with a song.
