The exaggerated angulation is pretty common in the American bred dogs of late. There was a very popular GSD that I thought won Westminster in recent years, but maybe it was the Eukanuba Cup. Was pretty but I couldn't find him in the results.

Great looking Lab! It's tough to lose one. I had a big male that got heatstroke in Louisiana about six years ago.
Mine are littermates. They treat me just like another pup.
