True, but with Christianity there is one unifying law--The Bible. It doesn't matter if you're Catholic, Protestant, Lutheran, Episcopalian, Methodist, etc., the Bible clearly says that if you believe in Christ as the Son of God and our Savior, then you will be saved and achieve eternal life.
Only when certain people get involved do these basic rules change. That is why Catholics have had problems with child molesters and Episcopalians have had problems with gays. People step into a simple formula for success and totally screw it up.

I went to Catholic School for 8 years ( 1958-66 ) and the only time I saw a Bible was at Mass on Sundays ! Remember we couldn't eat meat on Fridays so saved our fast food hamburgers until midnight to eat them . Like George Carlin said , and I paraphrase , " Those poor bastards still doing time in purgatory for eating a hamburger on a Friday " . 90% of the people I went to that school with are no longer Catholics . It took us a while , but we saw through the BS once we hit 7th grade .
