Does he say that even if they don't believe in Christ as the Savior they can still go to Heaven? I find that REAL hard to swallow.

Regardless, Gibson practices a very old form of Catholicism. I believe they even still give the sermons in Latin at mass in his church. So, even if there is a new philosophy, it wouldn't surprise me that Gibson doesn't stick with it.

Well yes, it is very old, it goes back to 33AD.

I believe they even still give the sermons in Latin at mass in his church.

Not the sermons. But everything else in the Mass.

So, even if there is a new philosophy, it wouldn't surprise me that Gibson doesn't stick with it.

The continuous teaching of the Church for 2000 years was still being practiced right up until around 1965. Gibson has stuck with the original, while most of the rest of the Church is testing out the new modern version.
