Dunno. How much do you think the "Pterodactyl Slide" costs? More importantly, how much do you think a sensible person would pay to let their kids play on Kent's playground?

Scientists originally thought the Sun burned its hydrogen. It was based upon this assumption that it was determined the Sun was only a few million years old

I thought Kelvin based his age of the sun on energy released due to gravitational collapse.

Kelvin's was based on gravitational collapse. Earlier estimates were on burning a solar mass worth of coal.

Kelvin really knew how to be wrong about something. His reasoning was incredibly sophisticated -- the best possible theory based on available knowledge.

Hovind's ideas are so bad they aren't even wrong.

How did we get into chat so quickly?

KENT HOVIND'S DINOSAUR ADVENTURE LAND.

Wow. I am completely cheezed out by that. Lets not ask where you found it.

I think that crocodile hunter fellow has grounds for a lawsuit.

How about that climbing wall? The rusty nails sticking out of my garage door would probably make for better entertainment.

Lets not ask where you found it.

'Tis the depths of Hell I plumb for thee. Think of me as your own personal Dante Alighieri.

Or maybe it was Kent Hovind's Dinosaur Adventure Land website, which is pretty much the same thing, really....

Take a look at the course descriptions on the right. I just can't decide whether to take "Intermediate Biology" or "Basic Home Repair".

I think "Intermediate Biology" might be too advanced for me, and it appears I missed "Introductory Biology". Anyway, if you click through for the course descriptions, you'll find a course that "Dr. Dino" is eminently qualified to teach - "Clowning (magic-balloon sculpture-juggling-unicycle, etc.)"

Well, if Hovind's engineering knowledge is as sharp as is biological knowledge...

...Geez, he'd better have a good insurance policy.

He's also adept at constructing paper airplanes. I saw him showcasing that sill on some TBN presentation once.

I'm vaguely reminded of the Dan Aykroyd "Irwin Mainway" character, purveyor of the famous "Bag O' Glass" and other fine children's toys ;)

Heck, we've got a couple of Florida freepers (ahem) on the crevo list - I think we might need a firsthand report from someone who can get out to Pensacola....

Sorry, you couldn't pay me enough. And, after a hour, I'd probably run walk amuck and cane somebody.

The horror is, Pensacola is my hometown. Hell, most of my family still lives there.

Oh, for crying out loud. It's for science, so get out there and take one for the team ;)

Oh, BTW, since there was no Flood, this means your Bible contains a lie.

This statement shows a predictable ignorance of the bible and what is means.

And just for the record, I'm not a creationist.
