I'm pretty content with the way things are now, but I wouldn't give up my time in the military for anything.I'm with you Rosie. I like my life now, but wouldn't trade my GI time for anything. Gives me a real connection to the sacrifices of the Founders and every GI since 1775.

Exactly! My own contribution was pretty small, but I was working with people who contributed far more. That's something.
Not to mention it was a good introduction to the "real world" for me...without being dumped into it feet first. Better prep for life than just college, I think - in my case, anyway.
