Heh...I was gonna mention Dashiell Hammett, but I couldn't remember how to spell his name and I was too lazy to look it up.

I'm still exploring the suspense genre...never used to read those. And I always get to the bookstore or library and don't know which names to trust. I've been collecting author names from Hobbit Holers, though!

ROFL! I confess I had to look, too--my original had his first name spelled wrong, but fortunately I have a copy of Maltese Falcon on a bookshelf about two feet away from my computer so I just turned around and checked :)
