Actually, the chairs my grandma had were silver, and the table was square and a bit smaller (complete with cigarette burns from grandpa's cigarettes).

Yeah...this isn't like what I remember...but similar.

The tabletop was more sunk into the chrome trim, and I don't remember the trim being so pronounced.

But I remember my grandmother making cinnamon rolls on a tea-towel, and putting pieces of butter on the dough before rolling it up...she'd hand be a big old chunk of butter to snack on.

I must have been pretty small, because I remember sitting ON the table while she was working!
