When I left the Coast Guard, I did it from Alaska and had to ship all my guns home to Olympia. Sure, the guns were heavy and a shipping problem all their own, but Alaska Airlines has a fairly healthy attitude about such things.

It never occurred to me that the speedloaders in my carryon bag would be a problem... after some anxious minutes at the security checkpoint they let me go on with them anyway... this was of course many years ago.

LOL! Well, at least you didn't do like the scene in Airplane where airport security jumps the guy because he spots his buddy across the airport and waves to him calling out, "Hi, Jack!" :)
