I think I'm gonna be a lot more strict in the future.
But every time I say that, I give in when they end up stuck somewhere...because most people would be far MORE inconvenienced than I would having to pick them up.
Part of it is just personality differences. I'm the sort of person who will be somewhere at ten of when asked to meet, and have a VERY clear idea on WHERE to meet...they just aren't. And it drives me batty! I would NEVER have treated an adult like that at their ages.

I would NEVER have treated an adult like that at their ages.It sounds like you have an exceptional sense of responsibility as well as good planning skills, which is a very good thing :) Unfortunately a lot of people don't have that, especially at a young age--yes, I think personality is part of it. My sister-in-law's family is like your siblings as far as not being considerate about planning, which has a lot to do with their mother's personality, and it drives my Mom nuts every time she tries to organize a family event.
