Yep. Exactly. Matthew is just enthralled with it and I love reading it because it was one of my favorites when I was a kid.

I have so much I look forward to reading to them...I will read a Hardy Boys book next, but I thing A Wrinkle in Time is coming soon. Matthew kinda reminds me of Charles Wallace.

I really liked Madeline L'Engle's books. My favorite was one that wouldn't really be right for younger kids, though - A Swiftly Tilting Planet. More for teenagers.

Been years since I read those.

The scariest part, for me, was the planet Camazotz(?), where everybody did the same things at the same time, and the fate of the little boy who bounced his ball out of phase!

In fifth grade, I got into an argument with my teacher about tesseracts and Klein bottles ...! Egad, but I was a geek!
