Funny now how wind power is now *hated* by environmentalists because it kills a few birds. A couple of birds a year get whacked by the windmills and now it is among the environmentally *unfriendly* technologies, after spinning it for years as the answer to all of our problems. Dang, I wish they could make up their minds.
Next thing you now... they'll be pushing for nuclear power.

That's one I hadn't heard yet. It'll teach me to think I've heard it all! Heck! I grew up with windmills all around - to pump water for cattle. Who'd o' thought it was so "unfriendly."
Why don't you come down here and let's go to Mardi Gras?

Funny now how wind power is now *hated* by environmentalists because it kills a few birds. Wind power is a big issue here right now. I think most of the "real" Vermonters (as in born and bred here) don't have a problem with 'em, especially if they'd make electricity cheaper. But the imports say it'd ruin their skyyyyyline. *whine*
These are the same people that are making it all but impossible to build any kind of structure here. Cell phone towers? Eeeeevil! Noooo!
Not that I'm bitter or anything.
NH is only twenty minutes away from where I live now. Some days it looks really good to me, let me tell ya.
