Hi there. I'm at school just waiting a few minutes for the security locks to engage. This was the first night of the new quarter and even though I'm overrun with work a really cool thing happened tonight.
UNPLANNED - 3 former students came in to visit me and let me know how they are doing and tell me what's going on in their lives. They had all 3 been in classes together also so were very glad to catch up with one another. My students tonight were already gone when the first ex-student arrived so we had a really nice visit - the 4 of us!
Kinda made teaching worthwhile again - at least for tonight. :-)
