I bet it comes back. It is a plant that is sold here with warning labels about keeping it in confined areas so it doesn't get out of hand. I bet even your sub-zero winter doesn't kill it.
Although, Myranda's dad was very good at killing it out. He was always mowing it down and I couldn't keep it for anything! He did that with my dill too!

Mmmm...dill...that's another thing I'd like to grow.
My herb garden did horribly last year, though. Turns out the spot I picked was overrun with ants, for one...lots and lots and lots of 'em. And sandy, too.
I wish I had the energy and skill to terrace the little hill beside the house. That's probably the only place I could really do a garden...but even THAT may be sandy and insect infested.
