Oh, no ... Roarke as described is a dead ringer for the younger (Remington Steele-era) Pierce Brosnan:

Roarke has longer hair, though ... and more money.

Hm...I dunno if that sounds good or not. Guess I'll have to read one and find out. Blood, gore and death I can handle to a point, but if there's a lot of seduction...no thanks.
