I think that is my most important consideration too.... and these are not likely to be highly valuable to anyone else.

I have another suggestion on the dresses. This one may be *way* off base. But, my wedding dress when I married Dennis was a sorta old dress. My grandfather bought it for me in about 1970 so I wanted to wear it for sentimental reasons. When purchased it was white sheer fabric with a very small raised flower print and it reached the floor. However, I had grown taller and it wasn't long enough - and the whole dress had turned color.
Because of the sheer fabric I had to wear something under it but everything looked really bad - white or beige things looked really bad. And I needed something under that would come a little longer than the dress to make the skirt appear to be the right length. I ended up making a slip with white cotton fabric to go under and tea stained a little at a time to get it the right color.
So, I didn't do anything to the dress.... it stays stored in a sealed bag all the time... but I created the right thing to go under it to make it look right. I was told it was very impressive. I'd post a photo of that too but the scanner isn't hooked up right now.
