I didn't have the right blade to get it off at the time, so it's been sitting in our garage for a while.

Rent a big honkin' pair of bolt cutters. Or better yet, buy it. You never know when it might come in handy. :)

I'm actually hoping there will be a pair in my father-in-law's tools. My b-i-l and I are making a stealth run down to North Carolina in a couple of weeks to get the tools and some other stuff for Nana. We're not telling the siblings down there.
