Last night I got a call at 9pm (which made me grumpy...I always think the worst with late night calls and 9pm is late to me.) Wanted to speak to Steve. I asked "Who is calling?" They said "This is Discover Card calling for Steve, is he available?" I said "Not for Discover Card he isn't." And hung up.

Well...telemarketers are different, I think. They ain't trying to help you! If someone is rude and insistent with me, I can be rude and insistent right back.

I don't even answer my home phone anymore!!! Everybody I know uses my cell phone and the home phone is only for dial-up anyway. There's caller ID on it so when I check it's always telemarketer sounding stuff. They aren't gettin' through!
