I hid them cause I knew that some knives were contraband. I got the details on the rules and ours were okay - except, they weren't supposed to have serrated blades. I figured it was safer just to send a couple at a time after that and declare them on the form. At any rate if a snack package with 2 knives got lost in the mail, we'd only lost 2 knives not a lot of 'em. I just don't know about this missing bunch. I think they'd be though legal to send. I'm like Winmag and wondering if the inspector just wanted 'em for himself.
