I took the pliers to that dang wire...twisted it back upon it's self and bent it back into the chair back. But the chair is wore out. I mean, my folks got this old furniture back in the 70s. It was threadbare and just give out.
This new chair is nifty...like a cushiony wingback chair with wooden claw feet...then you sit in it and it reclines.
The couch has got to go next...we REALLY need a new couch. But the Lord provides in His good time. We'll either be given one or we'll buy a new one after Steve graduates and gets a better job. Either way, the Lord provides.

I have a chair kinda like that...someone gave it to me. Heh...guess chronologically it matches my linoleum! That's the one Fiona peed on. *sigh* I'm wondering if that's a sign it's time to let it go and move on. ;-) I have enough chairs without that one, and if I got rid of it, I'd actually have a free corner in my living room...more room for musicians!

Well, I would kinda like a new chair for my den. But, first I gotta get this mess straightened up that I started when I got home from work today! LOL
I mean, it would have been smart to finish up the library before I started on something else. I *was* only down to one room that I had topsy turvy. But, no! That wasn't good for me! I turned the den upside down now! LOL
Oh well, when I get it all finished it's going to be more likeable for me around here. When we moved in I was so busy starting the new job and everything that I kinda just threw stuff in the right rooms where they would fit. I only ever finished the living room, kitchen and Grama's room. All the other rooms were okay - even okay enough for company - but they haven't been put right for me.
